Great spot off of downtown OC. Definitely go for taco Tuesday and happy hour. The double dip is perfection. Loaded tacos and homemade salsas. Friendly, attentive service. First time, will definitely come back.
I’d heard great things about OC Taco, so I decided to check it out and it didn’t disappoint! I ordered the Fun Bowl and the prickly pear cider both were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and our server Kimberly was so kind. All the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely be back!
Taqueria Nueve may be gone forever, but the food, atmosphere, and spirit live on at OC Taco! Like Better Call Saul, OC Taco retains the best of the former, offers a few new twists and turns, and comes out a winner. We found our favorite drinks to be the same, but the new salsa was in a single dish, spicy but amazingly flavorful. While the tacos and enchiladas verde were familiar, the beet platter was not but surprisingly tasty. Thanks for the enjoyable Sunday evening meal. We'll be back soon.
Delicious foods! Must try their spicy pepino margarita! Love their housemade mole dish, and they cater! Try the asada enchiladas. Super friendly staff. We love going there!
Food is absolutely delicious. I love the made from scratch Caesar dressing. We get the empanadas every time and they also heat up great the next day. Staff is always kind and helpful. I love the bartender Zara and the kitchen staff is also super friendly.
This place was great. We took the kids and had a great time catching up with friends. The service was a little slow, but I think it’s because it was fairly busy for a Thursday afternoon. The bartenders were extra kind and checked on us since I think the servers were behind. AnyWho, the food was outstanding
We went here for a large hosted party and we were not disappointed! We were able to try their pork & brisket tacos (pork was my personal fave) and I got a little bottle of Modelo (honestly more places should do mini boozes, it was the perfect amount). Anyway, the pork was tender and juicy. Toppings were good too. Their chips & guac were addictive. And they offered up the leftovers for us to take home which was lovely (so we have the chicken tacos in the fridge to try!). My only critique is that the salad was super salty, which was a bit odd, maybe too much anchovy? But other than that it was a great experience!
I heard OC Taco had the best tacos in town. I won't argue with that. The food was great, the server was amazing and we had a lot of fun. Will definitely be back soon.
